Thousands of our partners have already begun their own sustainability journeys and we see showcasing their efforts to customers as our biggest opportunity to decarbonise our industry. That's why we developed our Travel Sustainable programme [add page link] to support accommodation partners in sharing their sustainability efforts. The Travel Sustainable badge, which can be used to filter properties on our products, aims to celebrate those partners taking significant steps to make their guest's stays more sustainable. 

 

Although the accommodation sector is our first priority, we understand the need to support other areas of the travel industry in reducing emissions and providing customers with greater choice in sustainable experiences. This will begin by helping our taxi, rides and car rental partners showcase their sustainability efforts, while also developing a new filter feature for flights that enables travellers to book the journey with the lowest CO2.
